The rules on face coverings changed on 24 July 2020.The practice cannot provide exemption letters for patients but you can get more information here, including how to download an exemption card:

It was announced by HM Government that from July 24th 2020 everyone is required to wear a face covering when entering a shop or business.

This is in addition to wearing one on Public Transport which has been mandatory for some time now.

If you feel you are unable to wear a face covering, please use the internet if you wish to download an exemption card for you to show if asked why you are not wearing one, for example www.asthma.org.uk or visit the government website https://www.gov.uk/government/news/disabled-people-exempt-from-wearing-face-coverings-under-new-government-guidance where details how to to obtain an exemption card are available.

Please note it is NOT the responsibility or the role of the Surgery to issue anyone with an exemption letter or certificate.

Thank you.
